Psychologist

I acquired my BA degree from University of Amsterdam where I specialised in clinical psychology and cognitive psychology and MA degree from Utrecht University in clinical psychology. I have long time work experience as an English teacher for special needs students. I have researched self-harm among youths and risk factors for suicidal behaviours. I have mainly focused on identity and self-esteem. As part of my studies, I have completed training courses in evaluating suicide risk, evaluating the QbTest, cognitive behavioural therapy and motivational interviewing. My main areas of interest are anxiety, mood disorders, stress and low self-esteem. I mainly work with adults!
